The Dominic L. Passantino Memorial Foundation is a 501(c)(3) organization created in 2013. Our mission is to increase awareness and foster educational efforts in order to prevent fire-related injuries, deaths of children, and cancer.

Our annual fundraising efforts, the DOM Party and The Dom Memorial Foundation Golf Tournament, are the foundation's largest fundraisers. Funds raised are used to support the deserving patients of Children’s Mercy Hospital burn and cancer units.

In May 2013, the Passantino Family along with Foundation Board Members gathered at Children's Mercy Hospital for the dedication ceremony of the Burn and Trauma Care Room named "In Honor of Dominic L. Passantino." Children's Mercy operates the only designated Level I Pediatric Trauma Center and the only Burn Unit devoted exclusively to pediatric patients between St. Louis and Denver.

We have created an Endowment supporting the Burn Unit at Children's Mercy Hospital with to date contributions of $310,000.

Board, committee and family members continue to support and raise awareness of burn and fire-related injuries and deaths and we ask that you stay connected to our organization and look out for future updates and events that support the Dominic L. Passantino Memorial Foundation.

The Foundation also supports Rockhurst High School through the Dominic L. Passantino Scholarship Fund.
